This Mini Sock Knitting Needle Gauge with Stitch Fixers is the perfect tool for sock knitters and other smaller gauge needle projects. This little tool is also great as it comes on a bag clip and is small enough for travel. Ideal for your personal notion stash or a great gift for the knitter that has almost everything.
I designed this kickin' little tool with form and function in mind. Sock lovers will love that this gauge measures both US size 1 and 2's, sometimes referred to as 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 (metric 2.5mm and 3mm), gauge in all measures from US size O (metric 2mm) to size 10 1/2 (metric 6.5mm). I have attached 3 small stitch fixers or mini crochet hooks to pick up dropped stitches, use for crocheted details or come in handy for crochet cast ons. The hooks come in 3mm, 4mm and 5mm and are aluminum.
One of the purposes of this design is to help with ease of use of the hooks; gripping the cuff of the sock in your hand while using the hooks, gives your more stability and something to hold onto while working.
The bag clip is perfect for clipping onto your favorite project bag or keychain. I will send a jumpring along that will fit through the tiny hole at the end of most zippers, that you will then be able to clip this through (see example in 4th photograph), if needed.
The needle gauge is laser cut from basswood plywood and measures approximately 3 1/8" by 2 1/4" by 1/8".
