This laser engraved and cut wooden needle gauge is a handy tool to have in your knitting tools, and makes a great gift for your favorite knitting child of the '80s! Gauge measures needles from sizes US 0-13(2mm-9mm) and sizes are engraved in both US and metric sizes. US sizes are engraved above metric sizes. There are two size US 1 and 2 knitting needles, sometimes referred to as size 1 1/2 and 2 1/2, the metric 2.5mm and 3mm; I have included all four of these on this gauge; perfect for sock knitters!

Would you like to personalize your knitting mix? This item has room for personalization on the tape's "label". Some examples may be: Leah's mix, Leah's Knit Hits, etc. The recommended maximum amount of characters is 30, but I sometimes I can fit more. I am always happy to experiment.

Compact in size, it measures only 2 1/16" by 3 1/8" by 1/8" and will easily fit into most notion pouches and tins or knitting bags. Laser engraved and cut from solid cherry hardwood in my Central Wisconsin studio. Wood is a natural product and no two pieces will be the same. The gauge you receive may vary slightly in color or grain.

Solid cherry hardwood was used for this product because of it's strength, durability and even grain; these qualities makes this a perfect hardwood for engraving, cutting and then everyday use.
